Jennie Ahrén, Chief Sustainability Officer, at Tundra has been elected Board Member of Swesif, Sweden’s forum for sustainable investments. The network is an independent, non-profit association, whose members mainly consist of capital owners and managers. Swesif’s purpose is to increase knowledge of and interest in sustainable and responsible investments.
“I look forward to participating in the board work at Swesif. It is an important forum for the exchange of knowledge about how investments can contribute to long-term sustainable development. I hope to be able to contribute with overall experiences from our work in low- and middle-income countries and add perspectives from my background as a researcher. There is a large knowledge base within this network for organizations that work for or with sustainable investments in Sweden. It will also be interesting to expand our cooperation with other actors in the Nordic region and the EU – now that we are facing a number of changes in terms of regulations and requirements from various actors,” says Jennie Ahrén.
